Duan & Duan talk at the University of Leeds School of Law, with internships in London and Shanghai

On 18 March 2026 Duan & Duan gave a talk at the University of Leeds School of Law on cross-border legal practice and career paths, for the School's LLM and LLB students from China.
The speakers were Chengwei Qi (戚诚伟), Equity Partner at Duan & Duan's Shanghai headquarters, and Jackson Ng, Partner at Duan & Duan UK LLP, the network's London member firm. The talk, "Duan & Duan: Insights into Commercial Law, Cross Border Litigation and Career Opportunities", took place in the Clarendon Building.

Follow-up visit to Shanghai
On 13 April 2026 Zhou Qi, Director of International at the University of Leeds School of Law, and Chen Kun, the School's China market adviser, visited Duan & Duan in Shanghai. The meeting, chaired by Chengwei Qi, discussed joint training of lawyers for cross-border work, cooperation between academic research and legal practice, and internship and student exchange. Blair Kun Bai, Consultant Solicitor at Duan & Duan UK LLP, took part in the discussion on future cooperation between Duan & Duan's London and Shanghai practices and the University of Leeds.
