Duan & Duan UK LLP is a limited liability partnership, which is a body corporate and has "members" rather than "partners". Our members use the title "partner" in their dealings with clients. When we refer to a person as a "partner", this means a member of Duan & Duan UK LLP. No reference to a "partner" implies that any person is carrying on business in partnership for the purposes of the Partnership Act 1890.

The contract under which our services are provided to you is with Duan & Duan UK LLP, and not with an individual partner, employee or agent of the firm.

Regulatory notice

Advice is given and services are supplied by Duan & Duan UK LLP ("we", "us", "our") on the basis of our Terms of Business. Our clients agree to those terms and conditions, subject to any amendments we have expressly agreed. No liability is accepted, and no responsibility is assumed, for advice given or services supplied to persons who are not expressly clients of Duan & Duan UK LLP.

Duan & Duan UK LLP is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority ("SRA"). The SRA Standards and Regulations (including the SRA Codes of Conduct for Firms and Solicitors, the Principles, and the SRA Accounts Rules) set out our professional and ethical obligations, and can be viewed at www.sra.org.uk.

One of our partners is a barrister, called to the Bar of England and Wales, who is also regulated by the Bar Standards Board ("BSB"). The BSB Handbook (including the BSB Code of Conduct) sets out further relevant professional and ethical obligations applicable to this individual, and can be viewed at www.barstandardsboard.org.uk.

We maintain professional indemnity insurance in accordance with the SRA Minimum Terms and Conditions, and will provide details on request. Our insurance covers the professional services provided by Duan & Duan UK LLP.
