A former senior judge in the People's Republic of China with 17 years of judicial experience, Jennifer has presided over a large number of civil and commercial cases. Her judicial practice spans a wide range of areas, including high-value cross-border commercial disputes, as well as matrimonial and family disputes, property disputes, tort claims, and labour disputes.

She is a qualified lawyer in the PRC and has passed the SQE1 assessments in the UK, with experience in both civil law and common law systems. Fluent in Mandarin and English, Jennifer focuses on China-UK cross-border dispute resolution, international arbitration, and transactional advisory.

Leveraging her deep judicial experience, she provides strategic legal guidance on dispute resolution, corporate equity structures, and commercial contract compliance, offering clients practical insights derived from years of courtroom adjudication.

Jennifer is based in Shanghai and advises Duan & Duan UK LLP on matters of Chinese law only, in connection with cross-border litigation and transactions. She does not provide legal advice under English law.
