Duan & Duan at the INTA 2026 Annual Meeting in London

From 2 to 6 May 2026 the International Trademark Association (INTA) held its Annual Meeting at ExCeL London. Duan & Duan exhibited at the meeting with a dedicated booth.

Duan & Duan's Nanjing and Hongqiao offices attended jointly. The Nanjing office team was led by its director Qu Dongliang (瞿东亮), with Liu Linjie (刘林杰) and Yu Fei (俞菲); the Hongqiao office team was led by its director Guo Guozhong (郭国中), with Zhao Shixu (赵世序). Chengwei Qi (戚诚伟), Equity Partner and head of the banking and finance practice at Duan & Duan's Shanghai headquarters, also attended. Ahead of the meeting, Jackson Ng and Leon Chua, Partners at Duan & Duan UK LLP, the network's London member firm, met the visiting colleagues and supported the Duan & Duan team for the event.

At the booth

During the meeting, delegates from the Americas, Europe, South-East Asia, the Middle East and elsewhere visited the Duan & Duan booth. Discussions covered global intellectual property portfolios, cross-border protection, brand compliance, foreign-related intellectual property disputes and recent policy developments.

The booth displayed traditional Chinese woodblock prints, including a Year of the Horse series, a Journey to the West series and a Nezha series, and visitors were invited to make prints themselves. Guo Guozhong introduced visitors to the "一团和气" (harmony) woodblock and the idea of cooperation it expresses.

Duan & Duan was also a member exhibitor on the joint stand of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Services Association, alongside intellectual property service providers from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and elsewhere in the Yangtze River Delta. At the China enforcement forum, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the China National Intellectual Property Administration and the State Administration for Market Regulation presented China's work on intellectual property legislation, adjudication and enforcement.
