Iris Zhou, admitted as a solicitor in June 2023, is developing a focused litigation practice grounded in commercial and regulatory work.
She brings six years of experience across law firms, the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, and in-house legal teams in Hong Kong and London. Her exposure to commercial contracts, corporate matters, and regulatory compliance gives her a strong transactional background, informing her approach to litigation — particularly in contract and corporate disputes. Her attention to detail and commercial awareness support strategic thinking and risk management in contentious matters.
Iris is also qualified in China (non-practising) and has studied law in China, Hong Kong, and the Netherlands. She holds an LLB from China and a Juris Doctor from Hong Kong. During her studies, she took part in international moot competitions, including the Willem C. Vis and Nuremberg Moots.
Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, she brings a cross-cultural perspective valuable in cross-border work and when advising clients from the British Chinese and wider international business communities.
