Anthony was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 1995 and subsequently founded Anthony Siu & Co., Solicitors in 2004. In 2008, he also qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales. Additionally, he is a Notary Public and a China-Appointed Attesting Officer.
Anthony specializes in dispute resolution, with extensive experience in civil litigation, arbitration, and complex commercial crime matters. He has handled numerous cross-border disputes involving Hong Kong, Mainland China, and other jurisdictions, particularly in matters concerning the reciprocal recognition and enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards, applications for worldwide Mareva injunctions, and cross-border insolvency and receivership proceedings. He also advises on regulatory matters, representing clients in quasi-criminal and administrative investigations or proceedings initiated by governmental authorities such as the Securities and Futures Commission and The Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Anthony has significant experience collaborating with leading counsel from the UK, including King’s Counsel. He instructed David Joseph KC and prominent Hong Kong Senior Counsel in CACV 158/2012 (Xiamen Xin Jing Di Group Company Limited v. Eton Group) before the Hong Kong Court of Appeal. He is currently working with Elizabeth Jones KC and Michael Furness KC on a highly contested probate action involving a substantial estate.
